Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

? about checking PMs on the Nest
How can I check PMs from my Nest profile page? If I go to my profile from the Nest, it looks different than if I go in from the Bump. And I can find my PM's on the profile accessed from the Bump, but have no clue if I go in from the Nest.
I just think it's weird that the same profile looks different between the two...

Under where you select your board on your left, there is a heading that says "my boards". The first one is Check private messages.
I don't see any place while in the profile screen on the nest to do it. I do it from the regular screen that has all the threads in the center and the boards on the left.
The easiest way is what RaeAnt said by clicking Check Private Messages in the blue box on the left.
If you click on your profile, then click on Edit next to My Friends. You will get a Friends tab and a Messages tab. Under messages you can also see the private messages, but this takes more steps to get to them.
I've been doing this the long way too. I never noticed the stuff towards the bottom on the left. Would make more sense to start that column with the individual things like my blog, my photos, my boards . . and then show the rest of the boards.
