Finally it feels like summer!

The QOTW: When you were a kid, did you like your name? If not, what did you want your name to be?
I didn't like my name. I wanted to be named Cindy, Mindy, or Kayla. Today, I really like my name!

Hi! I'd love a get together to finally be able to meet some of you. . . .
As for my name, I think as a kid I was pretty indifferent to my name (Stephanie) and occassionally wanted to change it to random things, though I always liked that it is a known name, but really overly common, but also not as generational as many names seem to be ~ did that make any sense at all?!?!?
Kelly- Holy Moly, a 10 pound baby... did you do it naturally? (My family has a history of big babies, and this is my fear!)
Get-together sounds great. Since school is out, my time is much less restricted.
I wanted my name to be Allison (my middle name). And then I wanted to change the spelling of Brooke. Now I love my name.

I am pooped! ?I had to work today, 6am-2:30pm, then I ran errands. ?When I got home, I took my dog Steve to the dog park. ?After that, I planted up a storm! ?It was fun, but I am beat. ?DH gets in tonight at 11:48pm. ?Good thing I don't have to work tomorrow. ?I was wondering.....did your DH ever wish he was named something else? ?

HM... My name gave me a lot of ups and downs being associated with a drug and people based many opinions about me and my parents on my name. Some people thought it was cool. Some people thought I must be a druggie.
I no longer introduce myself with that name.
Samantha... Super funny you used to wish your name was Tabitha because that's my name and I was almost a Samantha! I liked the idea of being a Samantha and even adopted it as an alias for going out when I was in college, just for fun my girlfriends all had aliases we'd give out to guys we didn't like or we'd use one another's aliases when introducing a creepy guy. It was code. Anyway, aside from Samantha I wanted to be a Tiffany. I thank GOD now that I'm not a Tiffany!
