DH is funny...

It seems as if he's already got "Baby on the Brain". Yup, you heard (read) right... Apparently, the other night he was at the Office late, and his Partner's Wife came by with their 2-year-old to hang out a bit... he said that he was running around, and doing all sorts of funny things. When he got home, he was telling me all about it... then, out of nowhere, he said, "I'm dying to have a baby!"... Let's just say I was SHOCKED! We are not ready for that yet, since I am currently persuing a career in Opera, and a Baby won't fit into that equation now... BUT I was just so surprised to hear that coming from him! I mean, I think that Women are the ones who will admit to wanting a Baby before their DH is even thinking about that. Regardless, it was cute :)

Thanks for letting me share! :)

Re: DH is funny...

  • That's cute!!! But that's only b/c your DH has seen the CUTE side of having a LO.  Wait till he sees them go CRAZY (which boy do they ever) and maybe he'll rethink it ;)
  • That's sweet. My DH has had baby on his mind too. He would want one tomorrow. As much as I want one now, I keep reminding him we have to wait. I think in a year. =)
  • he has seen it though, which is the funny part... our good friends have a 2YO who has had his share of crazy moments around us... and his brother just had a baby that's about to be 3 months old who is very good for the most part, but through a little bit of a hungry tantrum on saturday... i think despite all of that, he wants one... lol it's kind of funny. we are not ready, though. we are the kind of people that want to have our "ducks in a row" before we start a family. there is no way that i will get pregnant (on purpose) to then start looking for a house, moving, etc... i don't do things backwards.
