registering at BRU with family in US?
Has anyone registered with BabiesRUs.ca but had people order things from the United States? My family is all there and are throwing me a shower in Massachusetts this fall. When I got married, I registered in the US to make it easier on them and had to pay huge amounts of duty when I brought the stuff back home (no hiding big boxes of pots, pans and dishes!). I want to avoid this but I think it will be too big of a hassle for my family.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Any ideas for places to register online that is easy to order from either side of the border?

If it is a GIFT.. then why did you have to pay duty?!
If your family wants to buy BIG items then have them order it from the Canada BRU and arrange for pick up at your BRU.. no delivery or hassle for you.
Where as little things like bottles;; clothes; toys, bring an extra suitcase when you go and then pack it away in them!?
