Ladies, it's been a while!
How has everyone been?! I haven't forgotten you all even though it's been 3+ months since I've posted!
I am still in Newport News, I will be staying here. It's great, I love it! I do miss Columbus and in fact I just returned from a visit a few weeks ago. I have applied at the Newport News P.D. and I am awaiting an interview for a forensic tech position on July 10th. I am in the hiring process for the police officer position as well. I just have to pass the run.
Joe refused to sign the divorce paperwork while I was home a few weeks ago although I think he's accepting it now. He wanted to try to make it work but it's too little too late.
I am loving my life down here, my brother and his family are fantastic. I am done with my internship and volunteering now to continue working on projects that I helped begin.
I've met a really sweet guy who is a Sergeant in a neighboring jurisdiction. He's teaching me a lot about law enforcement and I definitely appreciate that.
That's about it I think. I just wanted to say hello and hopefully I will have more time now to stop by and chat!
