I'm having one of those days where I'm completely unable to concentrate. So how about some distraction?
What is everyone up to this weekend?

Re: weekend plans?
Tomorrow I have a hair appointment and Trav has an alumni meeting for his fraternity, so we're heading out together since they are in the same area. Both should actually be fun.
Sunday we have no plans, but I'm hoping to get some cleaning done... maybe start on the closet in the nursery, or at least sort throw my own clothes with need to be put away and rearranged so I can actually find my cool weather stuff. If the weather is nice I'll probably try to meet my friend for a walk.
Otherwise, we'll just be counting down until Monday evening and our next doctors appointment.

we'll be painting the nursery. that's our big plan for the weekend. i'm not sure of any other plans, actually. her parents will be in town at some point, so it's likely we'll try to get dinner with them or something. i'd love to be able to get the crib set up as well, but we'll see.
oh, and i need to go to the store this afternoon to print a photo, because mine is being weird and leaving little stripes and splotches on it when i tried at home. probably because we don't usually print much ourselves!
Friday - I have a cold and DD is still recovering from her surgery so we are at home relaxing. I might bake a cake tonight for DW's birthday get-together tomorrow.
Saturday - We are celebrating DW's birthday by BBQing and watching the fight.
Sunday - We are going to Route 66 to watch our friend cruise in the parade of champions. I have to bake and decorate a baby shower cake for Monday.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
We will be spending the holiday with family. So lots of cooking and visiting and picture taking on our agenda.
I have already baked the apple-cinnamon challah and am moving onto the torte in a little bit.
Friday, sleep sleep sleep this whole surgery thing sucks
Saturday Julie is taking Raphy to the vet, i'm sleeping sleeping sleeping
Sunday see above.
tonight we are going to take Ella for a nice walk.
Tomorrow my parents are coming over to see Ella and bring us dinner
Sunday we will watch the game and perhaps a walk.
Tonight - not much.
Saturday - we'll be going to an annual street fair in town. It's normally a drunken mess so I'm sure it won't be as fun this year. And we'll likely end up telling some friends we're expecting since they'll ask why I'm not drinking.
Sunday - Apparently we are having that garage sale we cancelled two weeks ago
Tonight and tomorrow we'll be celebrating the holiday with family. Tomorrow we're also babysitting our friend's 15 month old so we're taking him to My Gym in the morning then over to A's family after his nap - they are so excited b/c its been forever since there's been a baby or even a child on that side of the family. It'll be so cute to get a preview of what our future life will be like
Sunday is my nana's 75th so family is coming in from out of town and we'll be celebrating with bunch, cake, ect.
And its kinda sad, but i have to admit, one of the reasons i'm so excited about these plans is that it means I dont have to cook all weekend!

I just got back from traveling, and everthing feels super surreal. Today I'm making pies. Tomorrow I'm taking pies to my friend's baby welcoming deep in the heart of Virginia.
We've got a lot of issues going on with the house right now, windows that need to be replaced, a broken washing machine and a cricket infestation that our landord doesn't really see as a problem. So we're going to be working on that Sunday.
YUM!!
I used to take the boys I nannyed to My Gym - it's very cute and fun!

My Weekend..
Tonight: Pass out on the couch. I've had a rough day today, and I cannot wait to become one with the couch.
Saturday: I have a hair appt
Sunday: Big long nap for me so I can make it though the U2 CONCERT THAT NIGHT!!! Can't wait. U2 are my absolute favorite.
At some point, we have to do some cleaning and grocery shopping. I'm looking forward to a very low-key couple of days. Work kicked my butt this week.

I LOVE seaside! Make sure you drive down to Canon Beach, and eat at pig n pancake. :-) Oh, and if you get the chance drive a little bit further to Oceanside and stop at the Pelican Pub it's just a really cool place. :-) Have fun, and say hello to Portland for me when you drive by!
