Hi! I just wanted to say that I saw your HM pictures in your bio- what a fabulous trip.
My H grew up in Indonesia, and we have been to that same monkey forest (its in Ubud right?). I think Bali is incredible. We will be in Indonesia next in January for 2 weeks, and maybe we can sneak away from his family for a night or two and try out that gorgeous hotel/plunge pool! Thanks for the memories!

Yep, the monkey forest was in Ubud. We were only there for like 20 minutes (as long as those bananas lasted), but those monkeys were so cute. We didn't get to walk around Ubud at all, which was sad but we did drive all over the countryside that day.
The Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay was hands down my favorite hotel/resort. Not only was the property gorgeous, but their customer service was the best I've ever recieved. If you are able to, take one of their cooking classes. We did the Balinese one and it was one of the best experiences of the trip - and I have recipes to make at home now.
