When I first moved to NC, it was January or February and we got a cold snap. It had rained and it was going to freeze over night.
The lead-off story, with continuing live coverage on site, was a puddle that was crystallizing at 10 PM at night.

That bear was perched right outside my work in Rochester. LMAO. Sadly it happened on a day we were closed so I missed it all.
Between the whacko guy who straps himself with road flares and threatens to blow himself up and bears in trees...we get all the excitement in town!
Haha! sounds like VA Beach when it snowed, um, once. Except there were plenty of shootings and school bus accidents to take the lead off spot.
