is this a good deal on a Nikon D5000?
Re: is this a good deal on a Nikon D5000?
Do you know which lenses you want and how much the lenses will cost?
I always make sure to check out Pricegrabber.com and Google Shopping before I buy anything. I don't know the value of the lenses, but I see a few other options out there for you!

Costco has the D5000 body only for $599. I trust their return policy and customer service.
If you don't have lenses already, you might be better off with a kit. I think the best kits I've seen are at B&H Photo.
