So, two weeks ago, I had a second round interview for a job I really, really want (child support office where I live). They called me Monday to say "sorry, but no". Crushed me since usually when the phone rings, it's a good thing. Most lawyers get rejected in writing. Well, this afternoon, I got a call from another city's child support office, and they got my name from the people I interviewed with two weeks ago. They're hiring and asked me to come in Monday for an interview. It's close enough to home that we won't have to move far, so I'm really hoping I get it this time. I could use some extra thoughts and well wishes, though!
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

That is awesome that they passed your information along. Probably why they called - they probably really liked you and wanted to at least give you the call instead of the letter. Anyway, interview dust is being sent your way.

I'll actually take good luck over dust any day. I'm allergic to dust.
Dandy Lemonade, the job is in Temple, which is only an hour outside of Austin. So we could move about 15 miles north and both commute our respective ways and still not truly leave Austin.

Is Temple between Austin & College Station by chance?
(I'm looking at applying to both UT and A&M...I know, blasphemy...but DH would likely work IN Austin. I don't wanna commute 4+ hours, so we're looking for something that might put us in the middle where he could drive 45-60 minutes and I could drive a little more...should I get into A&M and not UT that is).
