Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

For Students: Deal on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade
I just pre-ordered mine, and I'm totally excited about it! I had to tell you guys.
As of yesterday, Microsoft is offering Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade for students at $30! All you need is a valid university e-mail address.
It is available until January, and those who purchase it prior to the 10/22/09 release will receive an e-mail on that date with the download information. Make sure you know whether you'll need the 32 or 64 bit before ordering.
Also, Microsoft offers a similar deal for Office Ultimate 2007 for $60. I got it over a year ago and it has helped my school experience immensely. It's called The Ultimate Steal and works in the same manner- order using your university e-mail and you will receive an e-mail with a link for the product.
For both, you have the option of ordering a disk.
