Follow up to Allergist

As suspected, Emma is allergic to dairy and wheat, and cats and dogs.

On a scale of 0-4, 4 being worst, Emma rated a 3 on dairy and a 2 on wheat.  Her new diet is do-able, but presents some challenges.  As for hte dog issue, we have to bathe our dog more frequently and are putting an air purifier in Em's room to help.  I also heard that there is a product that you rub on doggie once a week and it cuts down on dander.

  • Eating out is going to be quite a challenge, isn't it? I wonder if your vet would be able to recommend anything further on the dog issue. Can you try soy milk? That's pretty yummy actually.
  • Pedi wanted her on soy formula until at least 15 months....we see him in a few weeks.  Eating out will be interesting...especially since emma love pancakes at sparty's.

  • Boo! Hopefully she grows out of it. My allergy reactions have lessened as I've gotten older. Good luck.
