Allergists?

Has anyone on here ever had allergy testing done before? Can you recommend your doctor? Preferably somewhere in the Tri-County area or in Blue Ash/Kenwood.  I had testing done when I was younger, but can't remember the doctors name. I think I ate something yesterday that I'm allergic to. My face broke out really bad and I'm all swollen and itchy. I have no clue what it could be though, because everything I ate yesterday, I've also had before. So this has me totally stumped.

Dr. Lawrence Newman.  Cannot recommend him enough.  I was referred to him through my ENT. Dr. Newman has been fantastic in testing and treating my allergies which were a debilitating, long-standing, surgery-requiring drama until I found him. He's also wonderful working with you if you are pregnant and/or nursing.

I saw Dr. Fischer with GHA at Kenwood a few years back.  I only met him twice, but I was very happy with my visits.  I was supposed to have an allergy test done (skin test), but after testing my skin for dermagraphia refused to do them because I would just welt all over and be miserable (he's right- my skin welts when I scratch it).  He ran some blood tests instead, and did his best to point me in the right direction (problem solved, so I was happy).

I don't have any reccomendations since I am in Dayton but I get allergy shots bi-weekly because of my allergies. They used to be weekly but I have moved to the every other week schedule thank goodness! Good luck!!

Dr Carter Bobbit is located on Kenwood Rd directly across from Nordstrom.  I saw the new Dr in his office, I can't remember his name.   But he was good.

i have gotten it done 3 times already. i got shots for 8 years. so annoying. i like dr. richard skurow in tri-country. he is an ENT doctor and it sounds more like your allergies are not as related to ENT (ear, nose, and throat) as mine were though.

Dr. Newman is fantastic!

And Dr. Bobbitt (Carter) is also great, I know his PA, she goes to my church.

Dr. Bobbitt is awesome and right in your neck of the woods.  I went to him as a kid.  He's wonderful.
