Help! Recommend Your Hair Salon
I need a new hair salon. I went to the same stylist for nine or so years before he retired and moved to Palm Springs. After that I tried another and have been there for two years now... I think I'm ready to move on. I've been leaning towards Travis Parker, Philip Edwards and Jet Rhys although I will take any and all recommendations. Thanks!
Re: Help! Recommend Your Hair Salon
Hive Hair Saolon in Mission Hills...I see Nicole, I think she is the only one taking new clients!
Good luck.
Stacey Markham @ Studio 27 for Hair. She's great and so sweet. I recommended her to my friend (who then moved to Temecula). She still drives to Mission Valley from Temecula to get her hair done by Stacey.

I just tried Phillip Edwards in PB for the first time last week for a haircut. I was given to somone named "chuck" for the cut, and was not happy with the way he started (long story, but you could just "tell" he was new). I ended up asking to change and got the owner David, and he gave me the longest haircut of my life! It was close to 2 hours (I got the ever-popular angled bob) but he did a really good job.
Bottom line: it was expensive and took a long time. I like the haircut, but I wasn't bowled over by the whole experience. I might go back to my regular gal at Emerald Hair Salon (also in PB), she is a lot cheaper and a lot faster.
I HIGHLY reccomend Art at The Mira Mesa Barbershop.
Not only do you get an incredible $8 haircut, but you can have a sucker when you're done. Do you think Travis Parker gives you a sucker? I think not.?
