I am leaning towards iphone but i like the blackberry storm too
Re: Iphone or Blackberry?
i have a bb too. verizon is my carrier and i'm not willing to switch for an iphone.
i also have a curve. i have heard that the storm is difficult to use when typing letters.
I have a BB for work and iPhone for play.
I prefer my iPhone.
This (except an iTouch for play). I love my iTouch - but I can't imagine trying to write work emails on it.

I have an iPhone that I love, but it certainly isn't for everyone.
I would go to the store and try out both and see which you like better and which one you could actually see yourself using.
I like the iPhone, but it wasn't worth it to switch to AT&T which I used to have and was very unhappy. We got BBs because that's what Verizon offers. I have the curve, DH has the tour and my boss has the storm. Out of all three, I'd say the tour is the best. I love mine, but DH's is sleeker and has nicer buttons. I hate the storm. It's really hard to use, and especially type on!
They're very fragile though. DH left his in the bathroom while taking a shower (the shower is in a room adjacent to where he left his phone, so there wasn't even any steam in the room), but it was enough to break his phone. Luckily verizon sent him a new one. I've dropped mine a couple times and it's been fine though.
I've also heard that the iPhones break easily. A close friend has one and it's always breaking on her.
This. If Verizon got the iphone, I may consider switching, but otherwise I can't deal with AT&T service.
I'm on T-Mobile, and have the Blackberry Pearl Flip. It's not a bad phone, and when I got it I would have preferred an iPhone. I refuse to use anything besides T-Mobile, though, because of their quality of service and customer support.
The BB is alright, but definitely could be better.
What I really really want is an Android phone. Having had many many opportunities to play with my wife's MyTouch, I can say that Android is a FANTASTIC operating system. She loves it, and isn't even that much of a technophile. As soon as I can get a new (discounted) phone, an Android phone will be the one going into my pocket.
I've read in several different sources that Verizon will soon have the iPhone. Might be available as early as the end of 2009.

iPhone!
I have a friend who was very resistant to the iPhone, loooved her BB and was convinced her mind couldn't be changed. She would say "everything you can do with your iPhone, I can do with my BB"...then she decided (to prove her own point) to get an iPhone for a 30 day trial period. Within 48 hours, she had a facebook status up "It's sickening how ridiculously in love I am with my iPhone."
I think I'd listen most to people who have used/had/tried both b/c people tend to rec what they have and love without maybe even knowing how the other works. GL!
I've had the Curve and the Tour...both had problems with sound quality (other people constantly said I sound muffled, and I actually do know how to enunciate, thank you:). Best friend has a Curve and she sounds muffled constantly. She also used blackberry for years and loved them until the last year or so...I think the quality has tanked.
Plus when reading emails that are coming across as appointments sent via outlook, you can't get past the start of the notes section...at least I couldn't... that was impossibly annoying.
Definitely go iPhone!
