>>HAPPY MONDAY!<<
How was your weekend? Do anything fun? What's up for the week?
Re: >>HAPPY MONDAY!<<
Fri: dinner and a movie at home
Sat: Went to Love Happens with some friends. That movie is a real tearjerker!
Sun: a whole lotta nothin
I have nothing on the schedule this week. I'm fighting a sinus infection or something, so I may go to the Dr.
I had a great weekend!
Fri: Geisha House for OCRW with MH. They have a great OCRW menu and we had a good time.
Sat: Birthday karaoke
Sun: Had some people over...good times
This week is my birthday week! Wheee!
Tonight I'm helping out at my sorority's recruitment, but I don't have any major plans for the rest of the week.
fri: dinner with friends
sat: yard work, got my flu shot, drank too much in the evening
sun: woke up still drunk, was pretty useless the rest of the day.
this week: not a whole lot going on. I'm excited the first day of fall is tomorrow!
I had a good weekend. :-)
Friday: Met up with a friend for dinner in Claremont. She had been ill for a while and is now doing a lot better, so it was awesome to see her.
Saturday: Brunch with a friend, followed by browsing at SCP.
Sunday: Hung out with some people, watched tv.
This week: There is a lot to do at work. The only saving grace is that we leave for SF on Thursday evening, so at least it's a short work week.
'twas a very low key birthday weekend. that's what you get when you're broke as a joke.
but it was full of love and laughter. that's the bright side i'm clinging to.
Happy Monday!
This weekend I ran 20 miles, went to the Charger game and had good times in general.
This week - my BFF since age 5 is currently in labor (!!!) so I am going to be an auntie again fairly soon. And another BFF is getting married Saturday in Malibu and H and I are in the wedding. So overall, a very eventful week.
in the grand scheme of things, this is really all that matters.
i know it. i'm REALLY trying to keep this thought.
btw, the caramel cake didn't necessarily *not* work out - it was really tasty, just a little dry. but that was my fault, not the recipe's!
Saturday: Lazy day at home as we didnt sleep much the night before. Then MH and I went out to dinner and took the baby...she slept through the whole thing and we had a good dinner. Came home and took advantage of the sleeping baby and went to sleep ourselves.
Sunday: Slept a bit better. MH went to Eid prayers early and came home with a PSL for me. Our wedding photographer ( kim fox) came over and did Zara's newborn photoshoot...so excited to see the pictures!! Ran a few errands and came home to relax.
This week is pretty open...just getting used to being home with the baby during the day myself.
Weekend: Food poisoning.
This week: Hopefully not food poisoning.
WM
Have fun with that! I got out of it this year hehe
((weemz))
Fri - Work from my parents house and had dinner with my cousins
Sat - took a 3 hr nap and met some ladies for dinner
Sun - drove home and stopped at my friends house to take pics of my baby to include on the birth announcements I'm designing for her. Had dinner at Elephant Bar which was meh and stayed up editing pics.
Friday: hung out at home
Saturday: errands, karaoke madness. I sucked in the vocals department, but I'm pretty sure I killed it with my "moves"
Sunday: hung out with friends, MarioKart
Cyberhugs to WM.
Fri - nothing, it was great
Sat - lunch and tooling around SCP with a nerd I know; sick all night
Sun - power walk with weights with mboc!, groceries, hung out with some great ladies, clean, run!
Oh, I will! I always get out of actually helping, I just LOVE going back for pref. I've gone every year (except last year) since I graduated in 2001. I just like to wear my black dress, check out all the girls, and sing.
what a sorority nerd! I never looked back after I graduated - bad, bad sister.
Friday - at home dinner and a movie
Saturday - Park day with dd and her bestie
Sunday - Met and hung out with some awesome ladies, got a parking ticket while said hanging out occurred *grumble*, drooled over Jason Segel on the Emmys, & did some studying.
Oh, I'm a total sorority nerd! I'm on the board for our alum group, too. Tee hee.
Happy Monday!
Friday: Had dinner with my friend who is out of town.
Saturday: Watched the Cal Bears football game. 3-0 now and #6 in the country-so excited! Played two matches in our tennis tournament in the almost record heat. Both went three sets so we played a total of 5 hours of tennis. Went to dinner and did some serious rehydrating.
Sunday: Played in the finals and won! Only two sets and 1 1/2 hours in the heat. Had lunch and she headed home. I was completely worthless the rest of the night.
Not much going on this week except work and a one day meeting for work in the middle of nowhere.
I use to be the same way...I would take time off of work and was there until 1-2 am almost every night. Granted I was an advisor all 5 yrs that I did that so guess all the behind the scenes drama and having to answer to all the higher ups just did me in. Maybe I wont be so burnt out next year and will just help out as an alumn and less an advisor. I do miss pref though, that was always my favorite night too
Ha,ha I hear you. I'm on the alumni board too, and I'm planning Founders' Day. Yesterday, I went to my Sorority's bid day. I wanted to see the new girls. It's been three years since I was active, and I still cringe when I see any of our rival sororities.
I spent most of Saturday shopping at South Coast, and did a 20 miler on Sunday morning. This week, it's back to school night. I hope the parents
a) show up &
b) aren't crazy
