Peninsula Grill Chef on Early Show
Chef Robert Carter of the Peninsula Grill (in downtown Charleston) was recently on the Early Show demonstrating how to make amazing meals on a budget. He also divulges the famous coconut cake recipe, which is truly outstanding. He and his amazing crew did our wedding at the Planter's Inn and I can attest the food was completely 5-star, out of this world. The recipes seem pretty doable too, which is the best part.

I LOVE Peninsula Grill! I did not look at the link, because I don't like to watch video clips on my work computer. I will have to check it out from home.
I have made their coconut cake before. They have the recipe on the epicurious website.

I get requests to make it all the time and highly recommend you trying it yourself if you like to bake.
