Favorite Tucson Summer Activities?
What are your favorite summer activities in Tucson? The students and snowbirds are gone, the weathers hot...what do you love to do?
Re: Favorite Tucson Summer Activities?
My favorite thing is the summer restaurant specials - I especially love the restaurants that put the specials on their website so I can check them out in advance.
We've driven up Mt Lemmon a couple times for the cooler hiking weather too. Do you have any other in town favorites? Like the night tour at the Desert Museum?
I don't know about this theater...can you tell us more?
Edited: Never mind...I googled it.
For anyone else who wants to learn about the magic known as a Harkins Theater In Tucson it is at Irvington/I19.

Check out Tucson Originals. It's a website and association for Tucson owned and operated restaurants and they do a lot of great discounts during the summer.
The drive-in is always a good choice, go at sundown when it's cooling off and watch two movies for the price of one.
And I always enjoy taking our dog Bella to the dog park at Reid Park and I've heard the one at Fenton Memorial park on River is really nice, but I've not been.
