Pediatrician Recs - Mt. Juliet area

Hi

We're going to be moving to the area by the end of the year.  We have twins that were born premature, so I am looking for a REALLY good pediatrician (leaving ours is one of the few things I will miss about NJ!).  Does anyone have any recommendations?  I am willing to travel up to a 1/2 hour for someone good.

Thanks!

Rachel

Re: Pediatrician Recs - Mt. Juliet area

  • I know several people that use the Children's Clinic East. Here's the link to their webpage: http://www.childrenscliniceast.com/.

    hope this helps!

  • I have a friend that has triplets that were born a little premature and she sees a pediatrician in Mt. Juliet.  Let me check with her and I'll get his name for you.

    Good luck with the move!

  • I second Children's Clinic East....especially Dr. Anderson there.  They have a Hermitage location (by the Applebees) and a Mt. Juliet Location (near the post office).

  • I have used both the Hermitage and Mt. Juliet location of Childrens Clinic East with my son.  I like Mt. Juliet better since it is smaller.  Definitely less waiting and not many people in the waiting room, which I like.  I felt like I always waited for a long time at the Hermitage location.    My son sees Dr. Shephard at the MJ location.  He saw Dr. Kirshner at the Hermitage location.  I like Dr. Shephard best.  He's a little bit more proactive, I think.  Dr. Kirshner took more of a "wait and see" approach.  A lot of people really like Dr. Anderson too.  She is hard to get an appt. with, though.  Ethan has seen a few of the drs. there.  Let me know if you have any suggestions, but I really like Children's Clinic.

  • Another vote for Dr. Anderson.  I have used him since my my dd was 3 mos. old and she is now 15.
