Out of work for 3 days

I injured my back a few weeks ago and I thought it would heal with time. It's only been getting worse though and yesterday the pain was unbearable. I thought I could hold out on seeing the Dr. until our insurance kicks in in November but that wasn't going to happen.

I went to Lake Primary Care (if you've been there you know how big the parking lot is) and my stubborn side was to embarassed to use the free valet parking (bad bad bad idea when your back hurts btw). I had to walk a half mile to the office and as soon as I got to the door I tripped. Omg the pain almost knocked me down. I practically cried all the way into the building and after I was seen I cried my way all the way back to my car. I must have looked like a lunatic, I was hunched over (literally in half) with tears streaming down my face taking baby steps to my car. I can laugh about it now but then I thought I was going to die.

She wrote me out of work for 3 days and after that I have to be very careful, can't lift anything over 10 pounds etc. She also gave me an oral steroid for 3 days, a prescription anti-inflammatory and a muscle relaxer.

I'm going to see if I can get down to the car ride with MH to the supermarket now and see if there are any movies at the Redbox I want to get since I'll be spending the next two days on the couch

You poor thing! Why didn't you call me? I would have brought you to the doctor, Belle! Try to enjoy your time off and feel better. And let me know if you need ANYTHING at all.
