Does anyone else watch this?  I caught my first episode last night and was sickly fascinated.

I don't watch it religiously, but stop when I pass it (this and the show Obsessed).  Being in the psychology field I find these shows, and the people on them, fascinating.

I concur that it is a fascinating show! I've only seen a handful of episodes but those people are so beyond mentally ill it's scary. It's one of those shows you just can't turn off.

I also think it's interesting how so many of them stop so abruptly, after only a little bit of progress. You can tell the production crew vastly underestimated the amount of time it would take to clean out the house!

me and dh both love and hate this show...it's insane to believe people actually think it's ok to live in that filth....one of the first episodes had a woman who didn't throw out food...she had rotting food all over the place...i can't imagine how nasty it smelled.  Did anyone catch the intervention update last night?  I taped it...can't wait to see how the freakshow Duster chick is doing.

I am just discovering all of the great programs on A&E.  I used to only tune in for Paranormal State, but I've heard I need to watch Obsessed from several people now and this crazy show.  My TV lineup just got more interesting.  To bad we don't have a DVR/tivo.

I did, I always saw the commercials for that chick but never saw here intervention. When she sucked on that can, wow!! You could see the brain cells drying up!

I saw the hoaders episode after that. The lady that had her kids taken away! There are mice running around in your house! How do you sleep at night knowing that??
