Cannon Beach

I know this question has been asked before, but the search gave me nothing.  I went back through all 4 pages of posts and couldn't find anyhing that way either.

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Cannon Beach?

 TIA!

Re: Cannon Beach

  • The Stephanie Inn is nice, but pretty expensive.  But the Surfsand is also nice and I don't think quite as expensive.

  • My favorite is the Ocean Lodge (next door to the Stephanie).  For less money, but still nice (and pet-friendly), The Hallmark is good, too.

  • We stay at the Surfsand and it's gorgeous and wonderful and we LOVE it, but really expensive.  The rooms have flat screen TV's and huge bathtubs that me and DH both fit in comfortably.  Wonderful beds, room service, etc.  It's not within easy walking distance to downtown Cannon Beach, which I don't love.  I want to be able to pop B into the stroller and walk around.

For a budget hotel, I like the Ebb Tide in Seaside.  It's not the newest hotel, but it's right next to the Shilo on the beach, and it has a seperate room for the baby to sleep in!  Plus it's very easy to walk around all of Seaside from the hotel.  It's about $100 less a night than the Surfsand.  It's a "basic" room, no flat screen TV, no huge soaking tub, but I really like it.

    Have fun!
