Could you make her a photobook like the snapfish ones online of your favorite moments together up to this point? What about some burnt cd's of songs that remind you off all your moments together. If you are a sewer you could make her a nice quit for right aroun  $50. Also IF you two are into jewelery bidz.com has some options.

  • 1. I keep looking for the new Halloween flavor Dots, but haven't found them so far. Blood Orange, Candy Corn, and Ghost :)

    2. We're taking three weeks off between the end of our triathlon season (Sept 13) and the start of marathon training (Oct 5). It's weird to not go to the gym in the evening. It's awesome to sleep in instead of going to the pool in the morning.

    3. Because of said time off, I'm on an awesome cooking streak. Last night I made pumpkin-spinach ravioli. Tonight we had butternut squash and apple soup w/ homemade croutons and bay scallops, and I made pumpkin oatmeal for breakfast tomorrow.

    4. We have also settled on the official start to our TTC. Fall 2011. That seems like a long way away but we decided that we definitely want to go to New Zealand and we might want to do a half-Ironman before kids, and that will take savings and training (and thus, time).

    5. We're going to visit my brother in NYC in a couple of weeks and I'm excited. I usually go 3-4 times a year but I haven't been much this year and I'm finding all kinds of stuff I want to check out - like the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, and this Japanese bakery, and Governor's Island.

    6. I'm excited that How I Met Your Mother and 30 Rock are back, especially now that Wipeout is over for the summer. I like some laughs.

    7. I have over 50 books on my "to be read" shelf, thanks to Paperbackswap.com. I need to step away - or start reading faster!

    8. Love Etsy, and want to buy all of my Christmas gifts off of there this year. I think I can do it, although my dad will be a stretch. But maybe it'll be the best thing I ever got him.

    9. My sister started college this month and she is doing well and I can tell she's going to thrive. She has always been very independent but it still scares me a little to think of her living so far from my parents. I still think of her as a baby bird in some ways - just a really strong baby bird who wouldn't let anybody mess with her.

    10. I found out my *actual* bra size when I went to London in March, and now I can't buy bras anywhere but Nordstrom's or online (HerRoom.com, Bravissimo.com, etc.), and I really do not understand why women who wear anything above a D cup have to work so hard to find bras in this country. I look and feel so much better w/ my new bras and now I feel bad for all the people walking around thinking they are, say, a 36D when really they are a 32F or 32G! Your ribcage is not bigger than your waist! Think about the number they are feeding you and see if it makes sense! Run! Run to Europe or Nordstrom's and buy REAL bras that REALLY fit with no side spillage and the band going straight across your sides (not up) and the middle touching your chest between your boobs, not with an inch or three inches of space in there - that means the cups are too small! DON'T BELIEVE THE LIES!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A B, C, OR D CUP!
