i wanted to get your recomendations to a good formal or semi formal restuarant. For my BFF's birthday i promised we'd double date and get all dressed up and go out for dinner. She thought the macaroni grill but we will easily be the most overdressed people there. I live in Mesa but we will travel. her BF won't eat pork or beef so steakhouses are out, my first thought was Durants. she wants it to be this Friday but i need to know so that i can make a reservation if needed.
thanks ladies
Re: restuarant help needed
Wrigley Mansion!
Sassi
Ruths Chris does serve things other then steak
Melting Pot
Is the compass room still open?
Im personally not a fan of Durants...It was probably good back in its day....but its food just isnt that great.
I second the Melting Pot
I also like AZ88 in Old Town. It's really chic and you wouldn't at all look out of place if you dressed up. I don't think they take reservations, though.
I don't know this from personal experience, but my coworker was just telling me about a restaurant in Casino Arizona that is really fancy. She said it was great food. Can't remember the name of it.
Flemming's Steakhouse (has things other than steak)
Flemings. It's expensive though. You might be able to see the prices online, but I'm not sure. The Melting Pot.
