Where should I go? :D OC restaurant week?
3rd date with a smokin' hot guy that adores me and I could get into. It's his birthday and since he isn't familiar with the area, I told him I'd pick somewhere and surprise him. Soooo I need suggestions. Good atmosphere, fun food, somewhat nice, but nothing TOO crazy fancy because I don't want to look like I'm trying THAT hard. Somewhat close to Costa Mesa, but will pretty much drive anywhere if it's a good place. Thankksss!

My first thought, but we did a little spanish tapas place on date one and although Habana is cuban it's KINDA the same.

Did you go to the Cannery for sushi? I like that place a lot.
Haha I was just thinking that!! I just altered the title. No we didn't, but maybe we'll do Geisha House!

Lugatti's in HB. Super cute spot in downtown off of Main St. The menu looks good, too.
25 Degrees in HB just recently opened up as well. It's a burger + wine bar. The burgers are amazing... I would recommend sitting at the bar though. The service at tables sucks. It's not on the OCRW list for this week but I would recommend it anyway for the food.
ETA my friend just went to 25 degrees last night and said "that place is AWESOME" - I would go there
