yep that's what I meant
your gumbo is making me hungry! it looked good! I like potato salad in mine too and people "up north" here act like I'm crazy for that. I think I made a few converts though at Elise's birthday party. I heard one of our friends telling another "man that potato salad really IS good in the gumbo!"
I can't take credit; it's actually Jenn's gumbo. It was sooo good. I ate the last of it today for lunch.
LOL at the northerners. One year we went to a NO mardi gras parade and they had a pot of gumbo and a pot of jambalaya. And they were putting a ladle full of the gumbo on top of the jambalaya! I had never seen that before. I didn't try it but they swear it's great!
