LA nestie, HELP beach recommendations!
Hello!! we're from Los Angeles county and are going camping in San Diego this weekend. I found a few good campgrounds, KOA i think is the one we'll end up at. We are also going to Sea World for the first time!!
What are the best beaches to visit?? Things we can do? TIA!

La Jolla, Del Mar, and Coronado beaches are all favorites around here.
While you are here check out the SD Zoo and Balboa park.

South Carlsbad is great...but they book 6 months in advance...we call every year, exactly 6 months to the day to get reservations...we keep hitting redial til we get through. Sometimes, we can't get through...and miss out...so yeah, South Carlsbad is probably not an option considering they have a wait list.
Cool beaches to visit, Coronado/Silver Strand, LaJolla and even Oceanside for surfing etc.
we moved here from the twin cities last year & have been checking out different beaches almost every weekend. our favorites are pacific beach/mission beach, la jolla & del mar. there's a great little coffee shop by the pier in pb. i can't remember the name, we just know where it is. it's by a ice cream shop & a super busy breakfast place. love it!
have fun @ sea world! the fireworks are @ 9:50 or so. balboa park is awesome too!
