I'm so glad I saw in the post below you are a child therapist--my niece (5) and nephew (7) are children of divorce and I think they would benefit from talking to someone.  Things between their parents are frankly just awful and the kids are suffering and in the middle, I'm very concerned.

Would you be able to make some recommendations for someone they could see for me to pass on? If you'd prefer email--kristenbtobe@hotmail.com

Thank you in advance!

Re: EmilyAnn

  • I don't really have any reco's for someone, assuming they'd be using private insurance. I work in a partial hospitalization setting, and all of our kids have some sort of other insurance source than private insurance. Our agency doesn't take private insurance, so we wouldn't work... so when we refer kids for therapy, we go with people who work for us or other social service agencies. So I don't work with a practice of therapists. So my only suggestion would be for one of the parents to call their family doctor and ask for a few suggestions. Sorry I couldn't really help.
