Poll: How often do you talk to YH throughout the day?

I saw a poll like this on a national board once and was shocked to hear that some people talk to their husbands constantly throughout the day! Like 8-10 phone calls! I hardly ever talk to MH throughout the day. We usually call once if there's something to discuss or something going on, and if there isn't I'll usually call once just to say hi. But not often more than that, and we've gone without talking a whole work day before (we did yesterday). I don't mind, it gives us more to talk about when we get home and finally get to chat.

We usually talk on the phone once....  (unless you count him calling me on his ride home) and then we email a lot back and forth and talk on Messenger when I have time to

We talk maybe 1-2 per day.  MAYBE. 

Some days we'll text back and forth quite a bit if something is happening.  Then he'll usually call on his way home, or when I'm on my way home to see if he needs to start anything for dinner. 

We easily go without talking during the day though.

My SO texts me before and after his classes on his long days(tues and thurs) and call me on his way to work since he goes straight to work after school. And on the other days, he texts me when he gets to work.

(And he always calls after work on his way home.)

zero usually, he'll call once a day every once in a while to say he loves me

or if there is something he has to relay to me. 

But that's it.

We might talk once at lunch, but only if there's something important to tell each other, and we talk on the way home from work.  When he worked at the dealership, and was at the counter all day long, we would email or talk numerous times a day, mostly out of boredom.  Now he doesn't have access to a phone or computer.

We text a bit I guess, but don't actually talk to him unless there's something going on

We are on instant messanger all day long. We maybe IM every few hours.

Never call each other unless its a crazy emergency or something.

we email/gchat throughout the day.  He'll call me on break from his class, and I'll normally call him in the morning. 

 I have a really stressful job so he keeps me grounded.

 

Sigh- I miss him so much, and this just made me remember, thank goodness I go home tomorrow.

Maybe once during the work day, unfortunately he's in meetings most of the day or with clients so he really can't talk to me.  I will only call him if something is going on.  But he will call me when he's leaving the office or on his way home

I work 12 hour shifts and am pretty much busy the entire time, so unless its a quick text on my lunch or break, really never!  Some nurses do speak with their SO often throughout the day, but it gets annoying for the rest of us who have to answer their call lights and such while they are on the phone!  When I'm off and he's at work, still just a few texts, unless its something that we need to talk about right away.

I usually send him a good morning text--which he sometimes answers, but he's usually so busy that I don't hear from him until his drive home.  If I do actually get ahold of him, he sound irritated so it's no fun anyway :P
