OK, its seems that this particular Wednesday would be the best for all. Hopefully happy hour/dinner sounds good to everyone. Now just to pick a place. This is where I'm pretty worthless, as I'm not familiar with fun places to go. So as long as its near an el stop I'm good!
The only place that comes to mind is Ba Ba Reeba. I've never been (but I've heard good things), and don't know if it would really work with a group that doesn't know each other, but I love me some tapas.

I really like Webster's wine bar, but it's more of a chill place, so it might depend on how loud we are.

As far as locations go...in the Bucktown/Wicker Park area maybe Salud Tequila Lounge (1/2 price apps on Wednesday) or Blue Line ($5 martini Wednesdays). Downtown - Rockit or Carnivale? I think they both have happy hours too
This is random but the bar @ Morton's has a really good happy hour.
$4 beer, $5 wine and $7 martinis.
