So I went to Costco to buy milk and order a cake (today is dd2's first Birthday!)
I have 2 things of milk and get in line...the peeps in front of me have a gazillion items in their cart. The lady looks at my cart, looks at hers (like she's gonna let me go first right?) then she just turns and start loading her stuff! ggrrrr.
If you are ever behind me in line with less than 5 items, know that I will ALWAYS let you go first!
Re: Today's pet peeve
This drives me nuts too. Last night I was in a hurry cvs buying one item and me and another lady get up to the register at the same time.I'm nice so I always say, go ahead and figured she was going to let me go. She had a cart full of crap, and 5 thousand coupons and receipts and gift cards in her hands. I'm all for saving money and using coupons, but let the chick behind you go first since she only has one thing!!
Pet peeve of the day for me is people that don't hold the door for you! Just let it slam in my face, thanks! I make it a point to look behind me when I open a door to see if someone is coming...especially someone with a stroller!!!! Ugh where has common courtesy gone?
Oooooooooooh that pisses me right the F off!!! If I have more then 10 items and someone behind me only has 1 I always always always let them go ahead of me. Its no big deal.
People seriously lack common coutesy these days! GAH!
Hate that.
This idiot the other night, was too busy gabbing on her phone & stopped when she didn't have a stop sign. I honked & the people (who had a stop sign) all gave her a wtf look. She just stayed there, looking around as though we didn't know how to drive.
Those are all bad ones.
My pet peeve: There is a blockbuster near where I work. It is in a good area of town. Two weeks ago I went there and there was a guy hanging around outside the doors, and he approached me and asked for $3 to take the bus since he lost his wallet. I'm always pretty skeptical of this kind of thing. So I said no and moved on.
Then last week I went to the same blockbuster, consciously wondering if he would be there again. When I walked in, he wasn't. But as I was pulling away I noticed him walking across the parking lot to get in position. Seriously. This bugged me so much. I almost wanted to turn around and see if he'd pull that crap on me again so I could say, "You tried to pull that sh!t on me last week, sucka!" Am I a b!tch?
