I'm back, home, and with a baby. It's been an exciting past couple of days but I'm SO glad to be home with baby Emily. Thank you everyone for your well wishes and thoughts/prayers while Emily was in the NICU. That was a very scary experience that I never want to go through again. I will post my birth story once I feel up to writing it because it was an interesting one!

Right now Emily is sleeping with her Daddy and I'm trying to rest and recover from my C-section which is WAY easier said then done. Mark has been great & he still has another week off which I'm going to take full advantage of! :)

I'm pretty sure all of you have FB so i will post pictures on there as fast as I can remember.

We love our little miracle! :)

    She is beautiful! Congrats!! The NICU is scary.  Ava was there for 3 nights.  I was happy when they put her in the nursery for our last night.  Make sure you keep up with your pain meds, even if it is just motrin.  That will help.  Move around as much as you can.  That will also help.  Ask for help from people too.

    I am so glad you guys got to go as a family.  I'm sure the next few days are going to be an adjustment.  I love seeing the pictures.  How is Frankie adjusting to his new sister?  Hope you start feeling better soon!

    Frankie is doing so-so. I can tell that's he's jealous but he also likes to lay by her and lay by us when we are feeding her. When she cries he has this look like 'When are you going to return this thing?'.
