Let's (attempt to) save the AR board!!!!
Hey ladies! I am sad to see that this board is dying! I am currently in TX but will be moving (back) to AR in January.
So let's do a "get-to-know-you" post and try to bring people over and bring people back to the AR board!
I am 22, DH is 26, we've been married since April '08. We are currently TTC #1 together with PCOS... DH has 2 amazing little boys from his first marriage (they are in my siggy). We were married in AR and moved to TX in August '08... after being here a little over a year, we have decided to go back to AR in order to be closer to the kiddos.
I really hope we can save this board and I'll be checking in regularly to see how it's goin!

I'm 22, DH is 34. We married July 2007. We are expecting our first March 2010. We have 3 fur babies. A Boxer an Australian Kelpie and a Pug. (three goofballs:P )
Congrats on your baby! We have been trying for about 2 1/2 years and are starting Clomid this cycle. It sounds like you are busy with the furbabies... so much fun! I'm hoping this board will pick back up! Where in AR are you?
I have also posted a link in my siggy and posted on 2 boards to try to draw some attention over here... we will see!
Hi! My DH & I are both 32 & we've been married since December 2007. We're also TTC #1 with PCOS. Its been 9 cycles, but we're staying positive. I'm on board for saving the board too.
PCOS sucks! What part of AR are you in? I'm trying to get the word out there to save the board but there don't seem to be many people from AR on here... hopefully more will come around!

H and I are both 26, been TTC for almost 18 months with both a male and female factor. We live in Conway and moved here 2 & 1/2 years ago from Houston. We have two silly dogs- Lucky & Lila.
Me: PCOS/Amenorrhea DH: Azoospermia due to Y Chromosome Micro Deletion IVF w/ ICSI on hold until further notice

Hi! Thanks for the post in the IF board.
I'm 31, DH is 33 and we've been TTC since July 2008. I finally got diagnosed with PCOS and new doc figured out I hadn't been ovulating because of Insulin Resistance. I'm on Metformin, Femara and Prometrium (my first cycle trying these meds).
I'm in NWA, and DH and I have been here since 2002.
I'm a little late to this, but I'll post anyway.
I am 27 (husband is 29). We have been married since April 2005. We have an almost 2 year old daughter. We are both originally from the Central Arkansas area (born, raised and married there). We now live in a suburb of Houston, Texas after spending a few years in Knoxville, Tennessee. We just experienced the loss of my second pregnancy this past month. We hope to TTC again after a few cycles.

I do not live in Arkansas... I live in Cincinnati, but was wondering if you guys like it there in AR? AR is a moving possibilty for my husbands work and was just curious?

I am 27, DH is 36, and DD is 9 months. We have lived in SE AR all our lives. Nice to see some other AR ladies on here
I love Arkansas, I think it is a beautiful and wonderful place. But coming from Cincinnati I'm not sure what you would think, Unless you live in Little Rock, or the Bentonville/Fayetteville area there aren't a lot of city things that you would generally be accustomed to. I live in Conway, and I love it in Conway I think it is the best of both worlds as it has a small town feel, yet still has most of the things that a person would want like shopping, or food.
I am from Magnolia which is a much smaller town. I thought Magnolia was nice and charming, but you would have to drive an hour or more in all directions to any chain restaurants that are not McDonald's, there is some cute little stores in town but once again, no chains that you would be familiar with. Also I think in south Arkansas prices tend to be inflated... especially on housing. I could buy a newer house cheaper in Conway, than an old house in Magnolia.
What kind of job does your husband have? Or what is he looking for? I think that would determine a lot about where to live too.

Thanks for all the info. Sounds like a very charming place. He works for P&G. We actually found out we will be staying here (Cincy) for the next 2 years... so no move required. I'm sure I'll be back on here in 2 years getting more input
