DH and I got our puppy today (if you are facebook friends with me, then you can see my posted pictures). However, I mistaked the food I was looking for and bought the wrong thing.
I'm hoping not to feed her the whole bag and would like to switch her to what I'm looking for. I'm looking to sell it to someone (although it might be a long shot).
It's 'Nutro Natural Choice large breed puppy (the lamb mix). It's the 17.5 pound bag and it was $33. There is 1 cup out, and possibly 1.5 more after breakfast. I'm looking to hand it off to someone for $20. I can deliver it, I just don't want it to go to waste.
I know it's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask!
Re: Anyone feed their dogs Nutro?
Some stores take food back if you are not happy with it, so you may want to check into that. You could also donate it to a shelter or a rescue. However, with that being said, IMO Nutro dogfood is not the best and I would be very hesitant about giving it to my dogs. They have changed their recipes without any notification and a lot of dogs became ill. They also have less than sound business practices. However, I understand if you've bought it and need to use it. ANytime you switch food though, you should mix the old food with the new and phase it in. Otherwise your dog could end up with some tummy issues.
