Re: I need eye doctor and obgyn recs please
I see Dr. Lionel Smith for my eye doctor. I don't see him too often but he's very nice and very professional. His number one selling point though is that he is the only dr that I have ever seen that actually sees his patients on time. If your appt is at 1:30, you will be sitting in the chair talking to him at 1:30.
Dr. Cheree Schwartzenburg is my obgyn. She's great as are all the Schwartzenburg's. I've also heard good things about all the Kleinpeter's, Dr. K. Guidry & Dr. R. Sherman.
I go to Williamson Eye Center in Denham. Dr. Balanger left so now I see the female doctor there. Can't remember her name, but she was really nice and I felt very thorough.
I LOVE my ob/gyn. Dr. W. Holden-Parker at the Physicians Tower. I've never had a single problem or complaint.
There are a lot of good doctors in the Physicians Tower. I think just about any of them you would be satisfied with. Dr. Sherman, Dr. Hollier, Dr. Brown, Dr. Willet and Dr. Dickerson are all ones that I've heard nothing but good things about.
Dr. Fay Woo at Eye Medical Center is awesome - she is who did my LASIK surgery a few years ago.
for ob/gyn's - i use Dr. Edward Schwartzenburg. I love all the MD's in that practice. Dr. Lafranca and Dr. Cheree Schwartzenburg are my two next favorites.
My ob/gyn is Dr. Jill Bader at Woman's Hospital (in the Physician's Tower). She's young, and I feel very comfortable telling her anything. Makes a world of difference, considering this is my first baby.
No eye doctor recs. We moved down here for a job at LSU a year ago, and despite actually having good insurance for one of the first times in our lives, my husband and I procrastinate going to doctors / dentists.
Congrats on having your insurance kick in soon!
