Anniversary Dinner

My third anniversary is coming up and I'm looking for suggestions on where to have dinner.

Only restrictions are no Chinese/Japanese and nothing that only serves seafood. Hubby is allergic to shellfish, which is a recent development that he hates, and he isn't really a fan of Asian cuisine.

Open to any suggestion, we are both huge foodies!

Re: Anniversary Dinner

  • Here is a list of my DH favorite 3 places:

??1.?Kennedy's?- The District (steakhouse) Kind of pricey so we only go on really special occasions?

??2. Claim Jumper - Always good, all over town

??3. ?Cheesecake Factory - On both sides of town, and you can skip to dessert

  • If he's a (red) meat eater....texas de brazil. DH loves it and we keep taking new friends and EVERYONE loves it. never heard a complaint.

  • Mmm, good, my favorite topic.  :) Texas de Brazil is near your work, so I'm sure you've been there.  It's 50% off on Mondays for locals, so that's something to keep in mind.

I love and will always love Rosermarys.  They have great specials throughout the week.  Check out their website.

Last night we went to Hank's at Green Valley Ranch and it was FANTASTIC and very reasonably priced.  I loved the scallops and DH had a fantastic filet.  The side items are amazing.  It's much cheaper than most of the strip restaurants and better IMO.

There's some other good deals for restaurants on the strip.  All the restaurants at Mandalay have specials right now.  Check out the website.  I like Stripsteak and Border Grill.  You can get a gift certificate for some of the Mandalay restaurants on restaurant.com.  They are sold out now for most of them, but check at the beginning of the month.  Also google "restaurant.com coupon code" to get a code for discounts off of your purchase.

For old school Vegas, there's Hugo's Cellar and Capo's.  Capos is a little less formal, but still good.  Hugo's is downtown and is great.
