In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Hello girls! Updates...
Sorry, it's been a while since I've been on, but things have been hectic.
I wanted to let you girls know that things are moving forward with the short sale that we put an offer on at the beginning of this month. The bank sent us an addendum with a closing date of November 7th. So, that would be our closing date if the bank accepts our offer. We should be finding out in the next couple of week what the bank intends to do.
In addition to that, we just confirmed yesterday that we will be spending Christmas and NYE in Italy! My parents have been asking us to go with them since May, but we kept turning them down since we're saving for the house. Well, we took them out to lunch yesterday and the first thing my dad does is take out the itinerary for the trip he's planned out. Again, we told him that we couldn't go because of the possible house purchase before the end of the year, it will need repairs, furniture, etc. But, after much discussion, we compromised and came to a decision on the trip that will not break the bank for us, lol.
I'm so excited about both of these possibilities!

Where in Italy will you be traveling to???
We're going to Venice, Florence, and Rome. From Florence, we're going to do a couple of day trips to Vincenza and Siena. I went when I was 15, but this will be DH's first time in Italy. My teacher side loves being his tour guide, lol.
