Re: Holy Crap...The Lions Won a Game

  • The Lions looked so different this game.  They showed up for the whole game, instead of just the first half like last week.  Stafford showed the confidence that we needed him to have.  While it came down to the last plays, in this game a win is a win.  A little confidence boost to the whole team (and the fans) was much needed!
  • I am glad they finally won a game, but I feel bad for DH (he is a Redskins fan).

  • The Lions have a decent running game, it's their defense that hurts them. They always put up a fight at home. I am not surprised they won. Good for them!

  • I'm SO glad they won! Go Lions!

H was mad though...he's a Redskins' fan. Eep.

  • As a Redskins fan myself...it was pretty pathetic. But I also felt last week like there was a possibility that we would lose this game.  There was so much going on around here last week with the 9-7 loss to the Rams, it doesn't feel like there was much focus on the Lions. And it doesn't seem like the players or coaches really care all that much which is really disappointing. There was definitely some weird stuff going on - like Albert Haynesworth being carted off the field and then returning to the game - how often does that happen?? Oh well, I just hope that we can get a better coach next year. Did we really think we could hire a QBs coach who had never run an offense or been a coordinator to be our head coach and he would really succeed?

I agree with what the girls above say about the Lions playing...they just wanted it more. And also, like I said to DH last night...some team had to be the one to lose to the Lions to break the streak, they weren't going to lose forever. It's just too bad it was the Redskins.

  • I damn near cried when they won.

Our first win in almost 2 years.......that takes a toll on you!

  • Good for them, I always root for the underdog unless their playing my team. I want the Browns to win a few this season too!
