Just read your blog about H's grandma.

My mom went through a major heart surgery last year very unexpectedly and was recently diagnosed with CHF. I'm here if you need me. It's a long and crazy road but I've been there so I thought maybe I could help.

Thank you!  I remember when your mom had surgery.  What a scary time.

The doctor thinks her heart attack was mild, thank God, but we'll see what the angiogram shows.  She's had a pacemaker in for years without any issues, so this caught us by surprise.  I am just glad she's OK for now.

They (thankfully) caught my mom's before she had a heart attack.

Angiograms are pretty useful/routine so hopefully hers goes well!

This past year has been full of punches to the gut.  But you gotta keep on keepin' on, you know?  And today was another unfortunate reminder that although f'd up sh!t happens with no warning or explanation, we need to step back and remember how truly blessed we are to have our health, our families' health and friends/family who love us.

That is so true. It's a good reminder to slow down, give some love to your friends and family and just be grateful to be alive. Everything else is just extra.
