It looks like my H and I will be adopting a dog in the next couple of weeks (if all goes as planned). She will need some obedience as she's only 10 months old. Any recommendations for dog obedience classes in Portland? We live in SE so I would prefer this side but am willing to travel for the right rave review. Thanks!
Re: Dog Obedience Classes
We adopted our dog from Indigo Rescue and did training through the Beaverton Petsmart. The rescue reccommend their puppy classe because of the specific trainer at that specific location....so I'm not sure how the other petsmarts are. Her name was Trish (don't remember last name) and we loved our puppy class. We also got $10 off for having a rescue dog.
We live in SE now and I noticed that the PCC Mt. Tabor location is offering some dog training classes as well. Might be something to look into that is cheaper and closer to home.
We have a short haired dog but do bath, nails, ears at any Petsmart location....they usually send coupons in the mail pretty often.
If you are looking for a doggie daycare/boarding we use Wag the Dog Daycare on SE 50th and Division.....they are great!
Have fun adopting a dog!
