Probably since college. I'm revisiting it because ground beef is one of the few proteins that I don't have problems with right now and it's a cheapie, go to dinner as long as I have a jar of gravy around.
So I experimented a little, and put some onion and garlic powder and worcestershire in the beef, started cooking it in a cup of beef bouillion, and then added the jar of gravy and a packet of onion soup mix and let it simmer through until done in the nonstick pan.
It was quite tasty. Def. didn't need any salt, but gravy was good on the mashed potatoes, too! I am a happy girl. And even Alex ate all his toddler raviolis...and some ice cream for dessert.
Re: So I haven't made salisbury steak in forever...
huzzah!
I can't cook beef right for the life of me. I envy your beef cooking skill.
Sounds really yummy!
