How did everyone's weekends go?

Re: How was your weekend?
I had a really good weekend.
DH came home Friday night after being gone last week for work.
Saturday we slept in and watched a movie in bed. Then, we went to my cousin's football game which was a close one and had fun even though they lost. Then we went to Lincoln for the Huskers game.
Yesterday after church, we did some cleaning and packing and then did the final walk through at our house that we close on today!

The weekend was really great.
Saturday morning I got up ealry and took my dog to the groomers. After that we all went to a local state park and hiked some easy trails. It was a beautiful day. Then hubby and I had a calzone cook-off. That was super fun and we now have enough calzone for about 30 people in our fridge.
Yesterday we never left the house... it was so nice. We cooked all day and watched football. Perfect.
Is it Friday yet?
We had a great weekend! We were thankfully able to get our car fixed quickly ( leak in the fuel line) and get the kids their flu vacs. quickly.
Saturday I spent the morning running errands and getting everything for the baby shower.I picked up a really cute outfit for Kailey to wear for picture day ( today). We went grocery shopping in the evening, and then hung out on the couch watching a movie after the munchkins went to bed.
Sunday was the baby shower and it was a lot of fun. Thankfully DH was there while we were setting up, he made multiple trips to get things people forgot. I'd never been to a baby shower at a sports bar before, but it turned out quite nicely. The guys were able to hang out at the bar and watch the Pats game, while the ladies were in another room opening gifts, playing games, and having a lot of fun!
I worked Friday night and Saturday until 4. Some of our friends (one of my bridesmaids and her boyfriend) came to see us and we cooked out and watched the UGA game on Saturday night.
Sunday morning, I woke up and made a Blueberry Buckle and then after everyone else woke up we ate, drove around town since they had never been here and then went to lunch.
We don't have any friends here yet and so it was fantastic to have friends over! We really didn't want them to go
It was a really fast weekend - I can't believe it went by so fast, but we got a lot accomplished.
Friday night we finished painting our living room, dining room, and upstairs hallway. This was our biggest and most daunting painting task, and it looks great! I'm so happy to finally have it done.
Saturday we ran errands during the day and attended a church choir party in the evening, which was a lot of fun.
Sunday we went to church, then headed for home. H spent almost all day power-washing our deck, patio, driveway, and exterior of the house. I did some mending and then we watched the (disappointing) Steelers game.
How is it Monday already?
Saturday we went by my aunt and uncle's to drop off food, then to my mom's. Grandpa's funeral was at 3:00 and the services were nice. A lot of people came and/or sent flowers to pay their respects and a couple of my friends came to the funeral, that was nice of them. We got to my uncle's around 5:00 and we all just hung out, talking and eating. It was great having all of the family together. We got home about 9:30 and crashed.
Sunday I left the house to go grocery shopping, other than that we hung out at home which was nice. I'm off work today, so today is cleaning and catching up on laundry.
Next weekend should be pretty uneventful and I can't wait!
Really good. I got a lot of movie watching in.
Friday we ordered pizza and watched Armageddon & the South Park movie and fell asleep on the couch together.
Saturday we went grocery shopping and now have enough food for a small army, and hopefully won't need to go shopping for at least a month & a half!! Then we watched Adventures in Babysitting & Iron Man, which is on Blu Ray. Damn, that's 10 times better than DVD quality!!
Yesterday I cleaned and made chili in the crock pot. In my downtime I watched Clueless and Little Mermaid and then changed the sheets. I loove the smell of fresh sheets!!
Trials & Adventures in Baby Making
Stuck in counting limbo.

Great - we went out to visit DH's grandparents on Friday night (they live about 35 minutes away). We hadn't seen them since the wedding because they went to FL for a few months so that his grandmother could have back surgery, so it was great to finally visit with them. SIL and her FI went with us, too, and we all went out together after we got back home.
Saturday, we went down to the local farmer's market and I got some yummy apples and green beans. We went another local market and got some more fresh fruits and veggies, too. I made homemade soft pretzels w/ warm beer cheese dip (which both turned out AMAZING) and we just watched football for the rest of the day/night and got a little Chinese later in the evening.
Yesterday, we watched some football and I made PB cookies. Then, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched the Dolphins game and I drank way too many tall beers... We got home around 9:00 and I ended up falling asleep on the couch and DH put me to bed around 10:30. That's the earliest I've gone to bed since I was like 12.

Friday night DH and I had a friend's wedding. After the reception we spent some time with some friends.
I spent Saturday cleaning our house while DH layed on the couch and watched football. On Saturday night we went to the Journey concert with my parents. It was an awesome concert. The new singer is great.
We spent most of Sunday laying on the couch doing nothing. In the afternoon, I went do some errands while DH went bowling with one of his friends. We all met up later, along with friend's wife, for dinner at Chili's.
