Have you seen the ASPCA commercial where Sarah McLaughlin is singing and they show all the pictures of abused and mistreated animals?  It just makes me so sad... :-(

I hear you, it breaks my heart and I have to change it when it comes on.  I donate to them a few times a year and they send me materials and in the paper they send they always have sad pictures too......so sad what some people do to animals!

omg yes!! i shut it off or i close my eyes cuz i dont want to see it  I saw it in the first few times, But after a while it breaks my heart. I have been so lucky to adopt roxy from the mspca. I Wish i could take all the dogs home!

I bawl when I see that commercial, even before I was a hormonal crazy person.    Now, I always change the channel because it sends me into a tailspin.

Well that song is just gut wrenching as it is. Add sad and neglected animals and it's a pitiful combination. I have to change the channel whenever it comes on.

Ditto Michelle about the "change it change it! I can't handle it. Totally different than dogs dying but the ones with the home videos of kids that died from car accidents are really really awful too.

This is why I can't watch animal planet anymore. There was a show regarding animal rescues and I just couldn't handle watching it anymore.
