Ack. The boss lady's b day is Wed.

I'm thinking a nice bottle of wine as a gift. (Not sure if she even drinks though- or what she likes!)

What else is another good "happy birthday boss lady" gift?

(no flowers)

Hmm

I was thinking maybe one of those fruit baskets? (too cheesy?)

Re: Ack. The boss lady's b day is Wed.

  • How about an edible arrangement?  Those are yummy!  Or a cookie basket?
  • i don't know if i'd give a gift beyond something edible to share with the office.  can you bring a cake or cookies or something?

  • Apparently is boss' day coming up too so they have cheaper versions...you could send her that plus a bday gift combined.

    Here.

I thought about making her a cake- but I feel like I'm not good enough yet to present a home made cake to the boss lady. I guess I'm feeling shy.

    Hey that's cute! Good idea!

  • I know you said no flowers, but what about a nice plant, specifically an orchid one?  trader joe's has them for pretty cheap.

  • Edible arrangements are yummy!  I've sent them out before and the people loved them.  They are super pricey though.  So I would go with the Trader Joes Orchid.
