I get a random text from weird guy (AKA WG) this morning. the texting convo goes something like this:
WG: who is this?
me: uh, you texted me
WG: yeah cuz I I have ur number in my phone. who is this?
::at this point, curiosity has gotten the best of me so I have to reply::
me: ssinca
WG: oh. how old r you?
me: ::ignore::
WG: I'm cameron
me: I don't know who you are
WG: I don't know who you are either
WG: how old r u?
and that's how the convo ended. I don't (think?) know a cameron and it's from a 714 # so chances are if I have met this person, it's been at least 2 years.

Re: people are weird.
and he resent the text asking how old I am for the third time.
me: OMG, why does it matter. you don't know me, I don't know you.
WG: Y cnt we get to know each other
me: I'm married, leave me alone.
::waiting for a reply::
the "how old r u" tells me that cameron is about 14.
or, at least, he should be.
Could it be someone who was looking to rent your place before you left? Was that the contact number?
I have some phone numbers in my phone that I don't recognize-I am thinking I put them in there for a one time thing and forgot to delete them. I sometimes want to call them to make sure it's okay to delete them. Maybe I should just text them all to make sure. I am sure they would appreciate that.
nope. I'm wracking my brain and I don't know any camerons. unless I had a druken makeout session with him, but that would have been about 5 yrs ago.
Oh wow! So random.
When I switched cell providers 4 years ago, I got the number of a guy named Patrick who was a club promoter in Vegas. I would get calls and texts at all times of night asking for Patrick and requesting entry to clubs like Pure. Sometimes girls would offer um, favors via text in order to get on the list. It was an interesting 6 months or so.
awe-some.
