If you, your church group, coworkers or family are interested in helping with flood relief and recovery, here are some contacts and numbers to call. (received the first section of information via the United Methodist churches in the area)
To volunteer, go to Franklin College at the Dietz Center, if you
have ten or more people at a time, please call 31-444-1978 or
317-738-8807 to register. They're asking that you bring tools, shovels, gloves and make sure the
volunteers wear old clothing, shoes/boots and bring your own drinking
water.
Also, the Edinburgh area is in need of volunteers, please contact Doug Wright, 812-526-9771 ext. 1.
Most volunteer sites will have each volunteer fill out a liability release form and they usually need a picture ID too.

If slinging mud, collecting heavy cans of food, or putting up
drywall isn't exactly your ideal way of assisting in flood relief
efforts, here's an event for you!
Muscle Release Therapies is hosting a Free Bodywork Clinic to help
those affected by the Indiana Tornado and Floods. They are
providing wonderful therapeutic services, in turn for a monetary
donation of your choosing. Services offered will include chair
massage, table massage, body compositions and fitness analysis.
The donations will be collected and gifted to the American Red Cross
Disaster Relief Fund. Services are first come, first serve. While
there, you can also enjoy a bake sale, raffles and other door prizes as
supported by community members and LA Fitness, Curves, and The
Spiritual Gardens (with more to come!)
June 28 & 29, Noon to 6:00 pm
