So, as you ladies know, I had my second round interview, with the boss of the company, last Thursday afternoon. (I ended up wearing the grey slacks, with a new cute blue pinstriped shirt from H&M with slightly poofy, feminine shoulders. I felt perfectly dressed--the woman whose job I am interviewing for was wearing shorts and sneakers, go figure.) My interview with him went quite well--I think we got along great and he made me really enthused and excited about working for his company. Then, they totally pulled a "good cop, bad cop" on me, and asked me if I also had time to meet with a woman named Janet, and she and I met one-on-one and she was super super tough! Very difficult questions, no small talk. I just hoped I handled myself ok and didn't blow the whole thing...mostly it made me kind of depressed because I got really built up and excited about the idea of working there then this woman really made me question whether my particular skill set makes me well-equipped for this particular position.
So, a weekend of waiting ensued, in which time I came down with a terrible cold and have been feeling miserable and pathetic... but, voila! I guess I didn't do too badly with Janet as I just got a call and they want to have me in for a third round either Tuesday afternoon or sometime on Wednesday (still figuring out scheduling).
So...please wish me luck a third time around!
Re: Job update
Good luck! I'm sure you'll do a great job!
I hope round three isn't a bare-knuckle fight with Janet (even though I have faith in your ability to win that one, too)!

Round three! Woo hoo!
And now, for a bit of unsolicited advice: take some time to think about the questions that ol' Ms. Hardass asked you. If there were any questions that stumped you or answers you weren't entirely happy with, think of some good answers. Then, if you have to meet with her again, you might be able to work in some of those new answers if there's a reasonable segue.
Other than that, take deep breaths and be your charming, wonderful usual self!
