I know I'm a PW here, but I need some help (iTunes/Audiobooks)

I ripped a few Audio Book CDs and managed to convert them to .m4b format so they're not "songs" but rather "audiobooks" in itunes.  Trouble is, for three of my books, they're fine and all three discs make 1 audiobook.  On one, each of the 7 discs is it's own audiobook, even though they're in the same folder.  Any ideas on how I can fix that?

Also - is there an easy way to make iTunes reload your library and delete/erase the stuff that was moved/renamed in the iTunes Music directory?  Is it as simple as an uninstall/reinstall?

THANK YOU!

  • Audiobooks, I think, can only be so long in iTunes. I don't know if this is the case for yours, but I bet it's a time limit issue.

As for the reloading of the library.. you could delete everything from your iTunes WITHOUT deleting it from your computer, then have iTunes "rediscover" it. It takes some time, but it works.
