As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Last day of school!
Today is the kids last day of school!!! (We go until tomorrow) It is always bittersweet, as I have a great class and it is sad to see them go. Especially where this is the class that saw my get married, but along with the end of the school year comes summer! I also love the time off in between school years, as I get excited and remotivated each time.
Any other teachers out there? When are you done?

I'm done today! Hooray. AND - its only a half day. I could not be more excited right now (I would be doing a little happy dance if not for the fact that its just barely 6am and I'm not quite awake yet...)

I am not done until next Wednesday! Ugh. I have mixed feelings. I want to be done and all... but since I still have not found anything at all for September, knowing that once I walk out the door I will be unemployed is making for things to be very depressing. I have to pack my classroom and move it all to my basement. I am not thrilled about that.
But to have to wait until the 25th- ugh!!!
I am out on leave right now but my district goes until next FRIDAY! I am so happy I am not there....
Happy last day to you though! It is the best feeling to wake up to that! I don't care when the teacher's last day is, I could go 100 just teachers. Not having the kids there anymore is bliss.
