Is today your first day back to work? I am hoping I remembered that correctly. If it is, I just wanted to wish you the best of luck. Hopefully your day will fly by so you can get home to your little munchkin!

Thanks so much Beth! Yes, today is my first day back. Funny thing is that this was going to be the worst day of my week before finding out about moms cancer now I at least I know I wont be as upset as i was that day. And that makes me feel better, if you KWIM.

Good Luck today Beth! I was going to say that at Nini yesterday but you stood us up! I totally get wanting to spend the last day home with your boy though.
I did not get on much yesterday but I am going to go back and see what you are talking about with your mom. I am sorry that something is obviously not good.

My SIL went back to work on Tuesday after being out for a while (since the end of March). She did OK. Only cried twice, ha-ha! So i hope you do well!
awww, thanks ladies! It means a lot and thanks for keeping my mom and me in your thoughts Britt, I truly do believe in the power of positive thinking, whether it be from the person its affecting or coming from other people.
Kate, in a nutshell, my moms cancer came back full force and with that I also had to find another person to watch Connor for a couple of days since mom was going to do that plus deal with today but I got a ton of support here (no surprise) and lots and lots of prayers for my mom.
Jess, I think i will be good hopefully if i break down its just like your SIL! lol Just once, in the back room where no one can see me. I bet ill just be sad though. I am not much of a crier but ya never know when it involves your kid, right!
Beth - you are super-strong and I know today will be tough, but I know you'll get through it.
I am sorry to hear about your mom. I must have missed that post. I will add her back to my prayer list.
